Ages Entering First Grade and Older
Children will learn basic science concepts through art experiences.
The "Art & Science" program appeals to a combination of the curiosity of science and the beauty of art.
Each day the students will explore, manipulate and discover art & science through fascinating games, science experiments, and art projects.
Glow in the Dark Camp:
Have you ever been fascinated by things that glow in the dark? It can be tremendous fun to create your own Glow-in-the-Dark art, including a T-shirt, a painting, a sculpture, a cast, and a drawing for a total of five finished projects. In this camp students, will work on a painting in a dark room, while the paint glows!
Wild About Animals:
This is the perfect camp for a young, animal loving artist! We will be engaging in awesome animal art activities with all kinds of fun materials. Each day will involve exploring different art materials, discovering new facts about wildlife, and having fun with science experiments. If you want to take a journey into the wilderness, learn more about animals, and conduct science experiments, then this camp is for you!
Every day will be dedicated to each of four fun animals, - a panda, a giraffe, a koala, and an elephant. Every camper will bring home a pastel drawing, a foil tooling artwork, a watercolor painting, and a painting on canvas. The highlight of the camp will be creating a 3-D Fauna Piece. Every student will conduct their own science experiment each day.
